So here in the Northern of Dallas we are really lucky if it snows once a year. And since we are not one of those insane skiing, sledding, ice fishing, cold loving families, we don't really have a large selection of waterproof cold keeping out gear but I did want the kids to be able to play in the snow without ghetto gloves ghetto gloves btw are ziplock baggies tied around your wrist with a ponytail holder. necessity is the mother of invention ;p So they all had waterproof gloves and an assortment of hats and scarves (which they didn't wear). Next year I need to remember some sort of waterproof footwear as the youngest almost lost a couple of toes to frostbite.
Of course you have to try to make a snowman, even if it is 1/2 snow and 1/2 grass with a bit of wood for stability
Corwin got over the cold pretty quickly. He is a summer kid like his mamma!
